Whenever anyone asks me what I eat, my brain usually completely freezes and I can’t think of ANYTHING I eat. So I decided to take pictures for a week and I have actually surprised/ impressed myself 🙂
Changing eating habits can be a bit of a challenge at first and definitely requires a little ‘out of the box’ thinking. But for me it has been totally worth it. I hope this blog shows that I eat a huge range of meals, most of which are not dissimilar to a ‘normal’ (western) diet. I’ve included snacks I have and recipe links where possible
Note: I have had my mineral and vitamin levels tested and they are all healthy. I take vitamin B12 supplements because the fruit and vegetables in our culture now are so over-cleaned it is no longer available from this produce.
Also note that as you will see; I do occasionally eat meat ‘substitutes’ (Quorn/ soya products) such as vegan sausages or vegan cheese but it is not definitely part of my daily diet and for me are a luxury/ treat.
